Ansell ACTIVARMR Small Size Electrical Gloves for Female Workers

September 11, 2025

Did you know, Ansell is the only Australian owned electrical glove company in the world!

Ansell are a great Australian success story, having been founded in the 1800’s originally as Dunlop and evolving over the years to offer a diversified portfolio of products into a global market.

With this pedigree, it is little wonder Ansell offer the most comprehensive line of rubber insulating gloves in the industry.

Despite this success, Ansell are continuing to evolve and innovate with their new range of Ultralight-Weight(ULW) Class 00 and 0 gloves. Made from the purest latex rubber, these gloves are up to 30% thinner than standard rubber insulating gloves on the market. This affords electrical contractors, utility linesmen and industry with unparalleled performance.

In the past, safety could be seen as a compromise to function. This latest advancement means that safety is maintained at the highest level with full standards compliance, whilst those tasked with spending hours in the gloves every day know they have the very best performance in terms of dexterity and softness of rubber.

Another benefit to the new ACTIVARMR ULW range of Class 00 and 0 gloves is the form fit. In the industry, there is a growing number of female linesman and electrical contractors. Typically, with smaller hands, the traditional sizing doesn’t always make the best fit for these workers. The Ultralight range has a smaller form fitting profile by design. The intention was to create a “second skin like fit and feel”. The added benefit here is that when comparing a size 7 rubber gloves in the market with the Ansell ACTIVARMR ULW size 7, they are noticeably smaller and therefore more likely to provide a better fit for female linesman and electrical contractors, or in general those with small hands.
