Daito Denzai was established in 1948 in Osaka, and since then, has been supplying plastic insulating products and hotline tools to the power companies in Japan.
To promote products to customers both in Japan and abroad, Daito Denzai exhibited at JECA Fair held at Tokyo Big Sight on May 22-24, 2019. JECA Fair is the largest electric power industry-related exhibition in Japan, with 241 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors, including many visitors from APAC countries.

The main range of products were exhibited, including live-line tools, conductor covers, and wildlife protection products at the show. Also introduced was the ROTAMARKA™ Bird Diverters developed by Balmoral Engineering™. This was the first time the ROTAMARKA™ Bird Diverters had been introduced at a trade show in Japan.
The issue of birds colliding with the overhead Power Lines also exists in Japan, and it can become a problem if the cables get damaged or the bird injured or killed by the collision. Some of the more vulnerable bird species in Japan include the Red-Crowned Crane, which is listed as an endangered species.
As a solution to this issue, Daito Denzai have started to promote ROTAMARKA™ to the Power Utilities and some of the customers have already shown an interest in the product because the design and idea of the product are entirely new to the market.
As a new product line up of our Wildlife Protection products, Daito Denzai will keep promoting to the Power Companies in Japan.
